Permanent exhibition

Guided tours led by the Château's volunteer guides are available at fixed times, Saturday and Sunday afternoons *. The cost of these tours is included in the entrance fee. Follow the guide to learn more about the history of Montréal and the Château Ramezay!

  • In English: 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • In French: 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

* Guided tours won't be available during Montreal Museums Day, May 28, 2017.

Summer Season

From July 1 to September 30, guided visits of the Château are offered every afternoon:

  • In English: 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • In French: 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Upon reservation

Dressed up in historical costume, our guides can greet you, upon reservation, for a guided tour of the Governor’s Garden and of our temporary and permanent exhibitions. Come listen to them while they share their passion for history with you!

  • Groups: Minimum of 10 people. Maximum of 55 people.
  • Duration: Approximately 60 minutes
  • Prices (tax included):
    • Adult: $9
    • Senior: $8
    • Student: $6.50
    • 1 accompanying guide has free entrance per 10 individuals
  • Parking spaces available for buses in the Old Port (2 minutes walk away) or Saint-Antoine Street, below City Hall.
