PICK A PECK OF PUMPKINS

A FREE OUTDOOR EXHIBITION FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

As part of the Pick a Peck of Pumpkins... exhibition, starting on September 27 and ending on November 9, a new tour for children has been put in place to give them the chance to enter the passionate world of squashes!

In addition to meeting Reddie, the friendly red pumpkin, children will also meet her many cousins. Cucumbers, zucchinis, and patty-pan squashes will reveal their secrets to the young botanists to help them fulfi ll their mission… follow the clues and solve the mystery!

In conjunction with the Journées de la culture, a traditional African music concert is offered on September 27, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the Governor’s Garden.

The Pick a Peck of Pumpkins... exhibition is adapted from the Musée-conservatoire ethnologique de Haute-Provence, Prieuré de Salagon.
