Guided tours 



In accordance with established health guidelines, the Museum’s cultural activities, guided tours and lecture program are on hold until further notice.


Guided tours led by the Château's volunteer guides are available at fixed times, Saturday and Sunday afternoons *. The cost of these tours is included in the entrance fee. Follow the guide to learn more about the history of Montréal and the Château Ramezay!

  • In English: 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • In French: 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

* Guided tours won't be available during Montreal Museums Day

Duration : 1 hour. 


From July 1 to September 30, guided visits of the Château are offered every afternoon:

  • In English: 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • In French: 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Upon reservation, our costumed guides welcome you for a guided tour of our permanent exhibitions and of the Governor's Garden. Let them share with you their passion for history!

  • Visits are available in French or in English
  • Group size: minimum 10 persons and maximum 55
  • Duration: about 60 minutes
  • Cost (taxes included): Adults 9$ - Seniors 8$ - Student 6,50$
  • Accompanist: 1 free entrance for every 10 persons
  • Bus parking spaces are available nearby in the Old Port and on St-Antoine Street.
