This exhibition traces the journey of a rugged, free-spirited man who was always on the move, striding through reality with purpose and determination. Jacques Nadeau was never in search of perfect images. He pursued life itself. He threw himself into demonstrations, climbed onto tables, got up close to his subjects, and almost always sensed what was about to unfold before anyone else.
The selection of photographs and the exhibition texts are the result of the work of Jean-François Nadeau, journalist and historian, a former colleague of Jacques Nadeau, in collaboration with Jacques Nadeau’s daughter, Virginie Jacques-Nadeau.
