Château Ramezay, which served as the headquarters of the Continental Army in 1775 and 1776, invites you to relive the events that unfolded on Canadian soil during the American Revolution and to learn about our own journey toward democracy, which led to Confederation in 1867.
From the fall of New France to the provincial demands of Honoré Mercier, Multiple historical events are remembered including the passing of Benjamin Franklin at the Château and the Rebellion of the Patriotes. Come discover Canada's democratic journey, which was marked by obstacles and struggles.
